OMF

OMF is a unified control, measurement and management framework for networking experimental platforms (testbeds). OMF provides a complete set of tools supporting researchers in their full experiment cycles, from an experiment's design, execution, measurement collection and analysis, to its archiving and version control. It also provides tools allowing testbed operators to efficiently manage their experimental resources. OMF is currently deployed on many worldwide testbeds, for instance at OneLab partner institutions and at Rutgers University in the USA.

PlanetLab is a global scale platform for experimentation of new networking applications in a real environment. The main drawback of PlanetLab is its scarce heterogeneity in terms of the
access technologies it offers. In this paper we discuss the efforts we made to develop a tool that allowed us to integrate a WiFi testbed controllable by OMF (Orbit Management
Framework) [16] in PlanetLab by means of a multi-homed PlanetLab node.
